subframe breaking???

I noticed that my subframe is snapped in half back where the seat latches on to it. Anybody else's cracked here? I haven't wrecked in probably 1 1/2 months, and it wasn't broken in half then. I guess it could have been cracked though.:confused:

My friends did this about a year ago but after he replaced it, it hasnt happened again. His cracked right near the middle not even close to the weld.

Mine was between the middle and the left side. I don't know what could have caused it.

mine is cracked in that exact same spot and it is powdercoated

mine has also cracked on that cross peice where the seat latches on, right next to the weld on the left side. stock paint.

Mine has also cracked it was on my 04. I welded it and added a gusset.. :cool:

I no longer have the Quad so dont know how well its holding up..


The 06 subframe looks much stronger than the previous 450R's

Check your bolts my 06 subframe bolts were about to fall out!

My Quad was down to the frame a day after owning it and gusseted and Powder coated..
