Coming from me, having a pretty well modded 300ex, I wish I would have sold it for a 400ex or c-dale. Now when I if i want to upgrade to a new quad I'm gunna have to part it out to get any of my money back out of it. So my suggestion would be, save up some more money and buy something bigger. JMO.

yeah its really not too smart to go dumping alot of money into a 300ex. I know thats why I have stopped with my modding and I only by NESACARY things now.

i guess it really comes down to dumping as much as you feel like spending. Its the same thing with anything you buy,You could have big bucks ina car with 24inch rims and killer stereo complete with hydraulics or airbags.Your still not gonna get anywhere near what you have in it,the only thing that will appreciate is a house or savings bonds:D I know guys that are compulsive gamblers and they lose a heck of a lot more than they win.its just all comes down to whatever makes you happy.i have too much $$$ in my toys but so what,if thats what makes me happy,i could be doing a lot worse;)

yeah i think you should put the money in it and ride it. if your going to race i would highly reccomend staying on the 300EX and racing. My friend raced his for about 2 years and got good enough to halfway keep up with the 450s. then he switched to the 450 and spanked everybody. so stay on it as long as you can
