I would also like to see some pics, i have been thinking of getting a hood for my 400 from feather carbon. I really don't want to cut my fenders.

Yeh same here. Im wanting some trail tech lights and a hood but i do too much trail ridin and muddy ridin that i dont wanna have to cut the fenders.

Cut the fenders, easy and looks a ton better. Just avoid the mud holes.

i've seen a quad tech hood on a 400 without the fenders cut, it doesn't look bad.. it just looks better with the fenders cut..but either way it looks good

The only place I have seen a quad tech hood for sale for a 400ex is k&k and it was like almost $200. Where are you guys getting your from and how much are they?

feathercarbon.com has a hood for a 250r that looks like the quadtech hood for $90. It has a lifetime warranty. They have a smoothie hood just for a 400ex, but i like the "Big Ugly".

The "Big Ugly" does not fit very well on stock plastic.....

I have the Maier, I just could not see myself buying the QuadTech for 3 or 4 times what I spent on the Maier, and I think it looks just as good.
