I pressure wash mine once in a while???

Usually, if I get back late and do not want to out them away filthy I will just give them both a quick weash and wip while on the trailer.

That being said, I use a Honda 2600 PSI with the 40 degree nozzle and never get too close/never spray directly into electrics/bearings. I also fire them up after and let the engines warm up a tad to get rid of any water

Anyone else?

Stay away from the chain, you can push the grease out of the o-rings and replace it with water, then your chain will be garbage!

without a pressure washer, how am I supposed to clean this. A hose doesnt even knock any thing off for me. I only use a 1750 psi washer so I dont think that I will be hurting any thing.

Yeah:eek2: , with mud like that, a pressure washer is the only way to go! Besides it is not going to hurt the clutch case cover!;)
But.... don't aim the washer at any decals.:(

my quad gets like that after EVERY race. I have only had 2 races in a year that I didnt have to break out the pressure washer.

ask any one of the D-6 XC races on here. Ask them about the Dutchmen Mud. See what they say.

I use my crafstman 2600 psi washer on idle, with the "gentle" nozzle. It just barely stings your hand. High pressure will get water in your bearings and electrical connections.
