I just got my blingstar iron cross bumper for my 2006 450 R. When mounted it covers half the light. Sweet!! I love it.

I know that a lot of you run with no light, but it really pizzes me off. Is it possible that there is a different version of this bumper to fit the 2006? Thanks in advance.

So I have a brand new out of the box bumper for sale.

I paid $109 for it shipped to my door and I took delivery of it yesterday. What do you think is reasonable?

I actually might have to get back to you on this. I might try to work something out with the place I got it from. But it was an ebay auction so I doubt I will have much luck. If I put it up on this site I would expect people would want me to give it away for half price. To me that is not reasonable.

Because I do a ton of night riding. I don't race, I use this bike for trails, dunes and woods.

I had the same problem with my 05, but I liked the bumper more than the light so I just went with the trail tech handle bar mounted lights to solve that problem. That way I get to keep my bumper and have brighter lights.:D

i cant' believe that bumper bent because of a 2 inch sappling wow
but my old acracing bumper bent after hitting a 3 inch tree
but bumpers are made of aluminum and there made just to take a impact away from the frame thats why they dont make steel front bumpers or atleast i dont think they do
i still like the way that bling star bumper looks though
sorry about your bumper!!!

went today and got it straigthened out....actually hard to tell it was bent unless you look real close or knew before....i like the way it looks also!! i guess it's better to bend or smash a 100.00+ bumper rather than bending your frame.

WAS THE TREE OK!!!!:ermm: lol

thats y i stick with the ol reliable AC bumpers, they dont bend super ez on small stuff, but if you really jack a big tree, it just crushes the bumper, absorbs all the impact and keeps your frame safe, ive seen a big PRM bumper slammed into a tree and it not only broke the bumper but it messed up the frame, i think those type of bumpers are just too strong, you need something to take the blow

My 1 friend had a bling star and he took his fan off to save weight for mx etc. and his quad overheated a couple times. And im like here try using this stock 400ex bumper and he used that and no overheating problems. The blin star is just to big and blocks airflow and looks out of place on a lot of quads. Ill stick with the ac stadiums. look nice because u moutn ur number plate right in.

My AC mud screen blocks some light out in front of the quad. but worse is it reflects the light back in to your eye. Now when i know im going night riding I take it off.
