where is top dead center i cant dind it on the side of the engine (tdc)

i cant find (tdc) on the side of the engine when it is apart. i am trying to get top dead center because i am putting my cam back in. i am only 15 but i know quite abit about quads. in the maual it says u can see tdc on the side of the engine when u turn the crank. all i want to do is put my cam in so i can go riding

do you have that little cap off just to the upper left of you'r crankshaft? Thats where you'll see a mark with a T next to it. It really helps to use a flash light. Hope that helps.

Yeah dude, take off the 2 little covers on the flywheel side of your engine. Turn your crank over with a socket and ratchet until you see the little mark on the flywheel line up with the tick mark on the cover.

Well if you have the head off, just spin it till it goes all the way up, and when its all the way up thats TDC. Spin it till it starts to go down again and you should be there, you can also look at the markings on the flywheel also.

i turn the wheel with the socket but i dont see any t in there then i used a flashlight to look better but idont see a t

Did you go all the way around? You should use two people though.
