help whith offset

I dont know what stock offset is on a 04 450r but for some reason I bought new rims and I wanted them a little wider than stock for the dunes so the guy says you want a 4 and 1 offset but the dont look like they are wider any help would be appreciated

4:1 offset is actually more narrow than stock. Stock is 3:2. The offset is 4 inches on the inside 1 inch on the outside...roughly. Can you flip them?

4+1 offset fronts are narrower then stock, 3+2 is the stock offset in the front

2+3 would be the wider offset but remember you will gain a little more bumpsteer with this offset
