I'm wanting to get a motorcycle, i dont have the money for a CR125, ,my next choce is a 85 expert. Im wondering if im able to ride it. what is the weight limit, is it good for me.

im 5FT. 8IN. tall. 185 pounds and ride trails. i dont want a four stroke. would an 85 fit me?

I'd get a rm100 or so or find a used 125-250 (keep saving)

I was 5'9 at 145 and I was to big for my expert.

are your thinking about a new 85? if your thinking about a new one, you can afford a used 125. i would not recomend an 85. i think you should just keep saving and get a 125 because that can last you a long time.

An rm100 is nothing more than an kx80 big wheel bored/stroked from the factory to a 100cc. Its no bigger/smaller than any of the other big wheel minis. Just save your money and get a 125. Your too big for a mini.

if i were u i'd save up and buy a 125... at that size u'll be way to big on a 80... u can find decent 125s really cheap...

heres me on a crf250f... i'm 5'10 or so and 155lbs...

so im going to go and save for a new CR125R, but i was looking at the specs on it, it says it has a 13.8 in. of ground clearnence and 37.3 in. on the seat hight. to find the overall height of the bike do you add the two together. i added them and got a total of 51.1 in.

i measured the 51.1 inc. along the side of myself and the bike is going to be up to my ribs. is that to big? am i doing this right? if anybody has a 125 could you tell me how tall it is. thank you

the 125 have a wide range of heights, i think the suzuki is the lowest, and the yamaha is the heighest. i agree though, even if the 85 fit you okay right now (wich it probably wont) you will out grow it way too fast.

no, the seat height at the highest point is 37.3 inches... you shoudl fit on the bike fine. the handle bar would make the bike a lil taller.... ground clearance has nothing to do with how tall the bike is...

oh yeah, does anybody want to buy a 400ex??? is a 2002, not very many hop up parts on it. the basics, pipe, cam, jet kit, K&N air filter, plus i just put a bran new carb. on it, it only has 1 ride on it. i changed the oil every 4 - 6 rides changed the filter every 10 or so rides or 2 twice a month.

the kawasaki is the sits the lowest and the yamaha sits the highest. in stock condition the yamaha has the quickest motor but the honda has the best handling. ive got the honda and i love it. thats what i would go for, especially for reliability.

My friend is selling his cr85 expert for 1350$. it is a 03 I think. mabie an 02..... But the thing is spotless, he just needs money for his quad so he is ditching it cheep.

they are fun to buzz around on. I drive it, Im 5' 10" or so and 160lbs. If I sit way back on the seat I can get around on it just fine..
they are a great bike to learn on.
