Broken Fender Mount [Archive]

I have an 05 YFZ, and the plastic mount above the exhaust pipe holding on the rear fenders is broken off. I was thinking of drilling 2 holes into the plastic and running a zip tie through it, but im not sure if thats the best fix....

your best bet is to make a small L bracket, drill one hole in the fender and bolt it up.

check out how my fullbore fenders mount up and you should get the idea...

Yeah take Muff's advice, zip-ty's always end up breaking.

thanks :devil: that was a shot of it last year...heres one i took a week ago. I rebuilt it over the winter and I'm workin on getting everything I need for my race bike...which will be identical :eek2:
