Gearing

I just got a new 05 450R.It is pretty high geared for some of the tight trails and washouts we have around here.I already went one tooth down in the front.What are some other setups guys are running?

you can put a 40 or 41 on the back if you remove the skid or build spacers for it. i also know guys that run 12 front. some say it will wear out the guides, but i know a guy that runs a 12 all the time with no probs.

12 to 38 would be real slow but i run 13to 38 and once you get fast in the woods a 13 to 36 is real nice we just did that to my friends and its alot beter we also tried it because andy lagdzins said thats what he likes :D

I am currently running 13/39 for XC with the HRC kit and slip on pipe.
