well im not sure what is wrong or w.e. but my 400ex is hard to start...its got a 42 pilot jet that is suppose to help that and what not...but it takes forever to start up, and when it does i cant keep it running unless i hold the throttle in a little bit. jw if anyone has any ideas on what i can do...thanks alot

i am no pro with jetting , but i can tell you they can be a chore to start!
all 400ex's are cold blooded. and you have to hold throtle till they are heated up.

I agree with that 100%.
My 400 takes an averiage of 5 tries before it will start and run. The other times it starts, runs for like 1 second then stalls.
I have found that pumping the throttle a cupple times before starting helps. then as previously stated, just cracking the throttle.
