View Full Version : blaster bogging down in higher gears

i have a question....i was draggin down a field and i noticed once i got it into 5th gear it started boggin out. do i need to adjust carb or do i need a new bottom end?

oo and how fast u think a 00 blaster wit new reeds, bored .20 over, complete fmf pipe, and k&n filter will go?

is it stock? if it is and the grass in the feild was high, it could slow you down alot, i dont know if balsters have much power for going through 1 foot high grass, u may just not have enough power

there wasnt any grass it was practically packed down dirt....but i was just thinkin it was carb or bottom end cuz when i first bought it a lil while ago it was fine

it sounds to me liike your just a tad lean. the reason the motor is only acting funny in the higher gears is because it is under load. and you jetting prblems are magnified. try raiseing your needle two position and see if it helps

ok guys thanks for all your help....and any of u know where i can download a blaster repair manual so i can figure out wut im doin cuz i just bought this used a little while ago...thanks

i highly doubt you will find the mauel for free any where on the internet. but i will tell you the $20 is WELL worth it
