WOW! We had a killer time at www.breezewoodprovinggrounds.com!

There were a bunch of riders there and although the temperatures were chilly with that blasted wind, it did not stop people from coming out and going BIG!!!!

Cody was excited to see what improvements track owner Dan Harris had done since last season, and he was very surprised to see it now gave him some challenge to better hone his riding skills.

Pappy

Site member "Tommy" came down and was having a blast airing out his new bike

Pappy
03-19-2006, 02:32 PM
JHForeman made the trip out east from Indiana to get in some pre race season seat time, and to see what jumps Breezewood had to offer

Pappy
03-19-2006, 02:34 PM
Yfzdan was out and about ripping it up on his YFZ

Pappy
03-19-2006, 02:37 PM
Casey, aka 05kfx, was there getting the feel of riding his quad, and doing mighty good I might add.

I enjoy meeting site members at these events, but Casey is a cut above! Besides being a kickass dude to hang out with, he allowed me full use of his monster sized king quad to run around getting pictures! Thanks a million casey!

Pappy
03-19-2006, 02:40 PM
Brian, WPPRacing, was on hand and is another great guy to keep around! Knowing he was there put my mind at ease because he knows the engine side of things to help anyone who might need it...............but he wasnt around when someone made an entire retro/engine fit in less then an hour:eek:

Birthday boy KH426 was ripping it up on his newly rebuilt YFZ

Pappy
03-19-2006, 02:43 PM
GNCC Stock Class Racer Shawn was in attendence getting seat time on a non race weekend.

I reckon I should not have let him ride my quad:o  Going from a full stocker to a full on race quad kind of ruined it for him:D

Pappy
03-19-2006, 02:45 PM
I offered Tommy the chance to see what he is missing since making the switch to a bike.....I think he liked my quad as he soon was clearing many of the jumps at breezewood:D

Pappy
03-19-2006, 02:47 PM
I caught this rider almost biting the dirt:p

03-19-2006, 02:50 PM
was anyone riding a 250ex with stock suspension and if so, how did they do? are the jumps too big for little quads with no suspension mods??

Pappy
03-19-2006, 02:50 PM
I geuss over the years I have developed a knack for knowing what to look for in a rider, and a rider with a case of the "OH Chits":D

There were all types of quads from stock to fully built, and the tracks are designed so that anyone of any skill level can safely ride on them!

Great pics pappy two thumbs up !

Pappy
03-19-2006, 02:54 PM
By early afternoon, I would say atleast 40 quads were on the different tracks, and finally track owner Dan came off the water truck and onto the track to give me some money shots!

Pappy
03-19-2006, 02:55 PM
Breezewoods newest jump is a monster. It is an uphill 65 footer and boy does it send you WAYYYYYYY up in the air!

03-19-2006, 02:56 PM
lol wish i couldve gone (needed a ride   )

Pappy
03-19-2006, 02:57 PM
I really wanted to stay close to the big uphill, but I snapped a shot of Dan airing out his 400ex on a 70 foot downhill:eek2:

Pappy
03-19-2006, 02:59 PM
I do not know how high it will send you, but Dan loves to air it out and show some style doing it:cool:

Pappy
03-19-2006, 03:02 PM
As you are entering Breezewoods pit area, there is a big sign that states..."WE LOVE QUADS!"

And to top it off, the track owner loves tp ride with you!

Pappy
03-19-2006, 03:35 PM
Shawn took my R out for something different then his stock R. I think he liked it...just a little:D

Pappy
03-19-2006, 03:37 PM
Turning someone loose on your $13,000 quad can be unnerving, but I do not worry about it. When people want to see if what I build is what I say it is, there is only one way for them to know for sure:macho

Pappy
03-19-2006, 03:38 PM
lap after lap, higher and faster....the R just took whatever he threw at it

Pappy

My brother, and BK Performance's ace wrench, spent the better part of saturday dialing in his new Walsh/Elka front end.

Pappy
03-19-2006, 03:43 PM
Cody spent his time dailing in on the new layout.

We all were kind of disappointed that his quad could pull him over the doubles, but we needed more power.

Power would come early sunday morning:chinese:

More and more riders found thier way to BPG and I was having fun taking pictures of them

Pappy
03-19-2006, 03:48 PM
There were several nicely outfitted quads there

Pappy
03-19-2006, 03:48 PM
Im not sure if I had a chance to chat with this rider, but he looked pretty damn good out there

Pappy
03-19-2006, 03:50 PM
JHForeman was bound and determined to clear that new jump

Pappy
03-19-2006, 03:51 PM
Lap after lap he would just come up short

Pappy
03-19-2006, 03:52 PM
Slamming down, short by just a foot or so depending on the lap

Pappy
03-19-2006, 03:53 PM
Coming up short, but fairly safe, he kept giving her hell

ok, so if its assembled here its better..gotcha

the extreme engines are made on the same lines as the honda's...and a few other facilities around the globe. it was a direct bolt in, and I can even swap the honda cases onto it if it will make you feel better.

how does it preform compared to our built 90cc national engine:confused: it smokes it.

Im pretty sure the honda parts are made here also. At least on the 400ex and the 04/05 450r's. But yeah my question was just if it ran better because I really didn't expect that it would. Thats awesome it works great!

Damn Pappy, I need to hire you to be my personal photographer for a day. I've come to grips that it is time for a new digital camera. What do you have? Mine is old and you have to time your picture taking by snapping the picture about a second early...so you more often than not you miss a good shot. Looks like your camera and your picture taking are right on target.

I was riding on Sunday and it was a busy but not too crowded. Had the right about of people spectating versus being out on the tracks. At one point, there were 17 people running the kids track having a blast.

Pappy I just finished looking at all the awesome pics, great job. I had a great time riding with everyone this weekend and really enjoyed having your brother and all his friends in the rental cabin for his birthday weekend.

I'd like to thank all the riders who came out and rode in the cool 40 degree temps making this a great weekend. I hope everyone enjoyed the pig roast lunch on sunday.

I'm still a little sore from all the crashing I did friday night on the pitbike at the indoor track. Cody's quad is awesome with that new motor and he can really rip with that thing. I look forward to having you guys back out and hope to put together an Atvriders dot com weekend.

they have indoor pitbike races that were a blast to watch, but i am not sure if they have outdoor races for them. (they should, Im hooked!

I dont think they have any regular races, but I would love for dan to put together some Youth only races for quads and bikes....outlaw style. I would be all for it and behind it, and I would help get support for them as well.

There are outdoor races for the pitbikes. Checkout the pitbike page.
