I never had a problem riding my blaster in the trails. It had very responsive steering and light, so it was very easy to maneuver.

blasters are really low to the ground (I think) so you might get stuck on big roots and ruts etc.

if you are a bigger rider, u will have trouble....if u ride on rough trails or just go through the woods with no trails you will also have problems...But if ur riding on mostly cleared out trails their are the best thing ever... we have one just to play on and its a blast in the woods, its so light and easy to move around...you'll love it...

I'd look at something else. A 300ex or 400ex in particular. Blasters are small (size wise). I am 6'2", and i rode my buddies blaster back when i was 6', and i fealt like i was riding one of those quarter machines at walmart. It just felt really cramped, and small to me. Power was descent though, but i liked my 300ex much, much better.

i had one, but i sold it cuz 1) i was 6' at the time, and 130lbs, and it was too small. the bars would always hit my knees. and 2) i came across a great deal on my 400 ex. now i am 6'2", an 160lbs and fit on my 400 perfect.
but any sport quad has low ground clearance, no matter which one you go with. but i fit on my friends 300ex pretty good, but i would take the extra power, and better (than 300ex) suspension.

for some reason tho my blaster dont feel that small, i dont hit my knees against bars at all

Well, if you own one, why don't you go ride some trails and see what you think. You might ride differently than i do. I ride in the middle of the machine, you might sit farther back on the seat. I just know it was too small for me.

you might think im crazy but id take a blaster over a 300 anyday. i had a naty blaster for xc/mx 20 inch tires in rear and 21 in front. Its great for snow, mud, open field, skinny trails. Throw a 240 bore kit on it and it keeps with a 400ex(mine did)

I'd go with a larger machine, my buddy has a worked Blaster with a 240 kit, Toomey pipe, Porting, etc. and the power still doesn't feel all that great especially compared to the R.:p The main problem with them like stated above is the size. I'm 6' tall and I felt like a giant on it, Personally, for a cheap bullet proof trail quad, I would go with the 400ex.

my friend has a blaster and he has some pretty nice stuff on it but to tell you guys he cant ride too good and he doesnt know how to stay out of deep ruts but if he knew how to ride that quad then he would probobly be a lot better.....i would say it would be fine in trails but not really deep mud recently i got my 250 stuck should have took pics it was buried.....good luck with riding that blaster of yours on the trails
