Standard or Long Travel

I race District 23 motocross and I cant decide if it is worth it to spend the extra money and go with the long travel suspension or just go with regular travel. What do you guys think?

go with the long travel , worth the money. Last year I ran stock shocks that had been converted to triple rate fronts and a dual rate rear and I thought that was great. over the winter I bought a set of pep long travel fronts with lonestar dc4 arms and I can't beleve the difference. I now bottom my rear shock , I hardly used to do that befor.so now I'm saving for a long travel rear :D . If you have the meens to buy long travel I would do it . I think the suspension mods that I have done to my bike are the best mod I have done to it. If it was between suspension or a motor mod , I would do the suspension.

I bought them used , they where used for two dune rides. I paid 1500 for them , dc4 arms with the pep zps and big bottles.
