400 EX chain and sprocket relace

Hey..... I'm new to all this!! I need help with replacing a new chain and both sprockets. Is there a good manual to get?? I'm also guessing a tight chain will help the sprockets last longer?? Any ideas will help!!!!!

get a clymers or haynes shop manual.

too tight a chain wears crap out fast, so does too loose of a chain.

you should have about one half a link slack at the back of the Sprocket.I reccomend SideWinder chains and sprokets, I have had a great experience from there tech department.
