i was wondering the same thing. what were the steps you took to get it to turn out so nice? was the plastic scrtched or anything?

The paint is normal auto paint but with a flex additive. Basicly the same that is on plastic car bumpers. I've flexxed it a lot with my hand and did great. I painted it for 2 reasons, 1 I'm not that much of a black color fan. Yes it looks good on the show room, but doesn'y take much to look like crap. 2nd, no body else will have one.:D

wow that looks nice! i like the hornet color scheme! so where did you get the paint from? and when you say you "flexed" the fenders, what do you mean?

i am going to airbrush my rear fenders in a little bit, so i will have to post some pics up! awesome job man:D

Calds, I am at home and don't remember the part # but tell your local Polaris dealer to look in their quarter 1 go to market guide. That will have the Outlaw nerfs, front bumper, rear bumper, k&n, dual exhaust, shock cover, and handguards.

Yep. My brother is the one that painted it, so he bought it.

not trying to air your business but it always ends up turning into thats not your bike thread, lol.....can you post some after pics so people that are looking to try it will know how its holding up....I think I also read that it was an awful lot of prep work right?

After 5 XC races, the paint has held up pretty good. Got a few chip marks from roost and what my tires through up, but has been durable. But my brother said he would never do one again. The prep work took many hrs and was tedious. If you have the know how and patience, you can do it. But not him. Mayby that's why he bought it. It has sentimentle value.:D
