new 400ex question

i was wondering if anyone has the newest 400 ex and how they like them. I sold my 03 400 a year ago and am looking to get back into it. Im trying to decide weather or not to go with another 400 or the 450.

i have an 05 and love it... it doesnt have the power i was expecting, but a few mods changed that... there are endless possibilities to a 400 and as long as you take care of it, it will run forever...

the 06 450r is an amazing bike though, i rode a few here at work and would definately consider it if it is in your budget... you get more power to start with and have similar options as far as upgrading it...

either way you cant really go wrong

yeah if you have the money i would get the 450 but i love my 400 and i can keep up with all my buddies in the trails who have faster quads. i say stick with the 400 since you are used to the way it rides. heres a pic of mine just for fun!:D

I did the same thing, I sold my 03 400ex and regreted it from the moment I saw the new owner drive away. I bought an 05 400ex. Looks better and has reverse. For the money and the reliability you cant beat the EX.. My 2 cents

I'm looking to getting it done soon(had to finish my yfz first for budds creek) and give it to someone. 5k is alot for a brand new 400ex, but someone who gave me 5k for my fully buily one would not be disappointed.
