20 Tune Up

I got my YFZ about 5 months ago.. and i hear a slight knocking, possibly the valves not quite sure. Alot of people tell me this is normal for the first few hours of running the bike. Also alot of people have been telling me about a 20 hour tune which would possibly get rid of the knocking. My question- is a 20 hour tuneup nessesary, reccomended ?? Im way over 20 hours now but should i still get it done.. ?

I would take it in to get the valves adjusted, especially if you never have before. I check my clearances every 4 or 5 races or so.
