View Full Version : where to put key switch and lights?

i was thinking of buying a t-2 type bar but maybe the rockymoutain one but one problem where do i relocate the key swith and little lights to ??? do they sell something? also i was wondering where to buy good aftermarket bulbs for the head lgihts

i have the x-5 bars and i mounted my lights in the front plastics on the lip above the headlights and i put my key in the front plastics on the right side a little above the reverse switch. you can also buy the bar clamps that have the light and key switch holes built into them.

just buy an aftermarket dash like rox or I think trail tech has them

here is mine i put the key on the gas tank and disconnected the indicator lights because i dont think i really will need them .

hmm idk if this is any help but i got my stock panel to fit on some low low rise dirtbike bars, im sure you could get the same thing, i dont think id be too keen on drilling my plastic or just not having my lights. and if you wanted to go an aftermarket route moose racing hase a nice oem style panel for cheap made of billet i think and in polished or black, i think the rox stuff is like 100 bux the moose racing stuff is around 30.
