Hows it done? Everything is still on except for the left hub when looking from the back.

?

I have no clue where to start. What do I have to take off? Can I just take the left hub off and the left sprocket? Then I should be able to pull it out from the right side of the carrier right?

You will need to take off the right hub. The loosen the lock nut, take off the c-clip, then remove the lock nut. The the whole axel will pull out to the left side.

How does the lock nut work? Its a stock one.

The locknuts have reverse threads, you will need a cresent wrench to loosen it. Then you should be able to move it to one side a little bit to take off the C-clip. After that the whole thing just slides right off the axle.

See, I am wanting to remove it because I dont think its on right...As it is, I can spin the entire lock nut around on the axle....Is that how its supposed to be?

That is deffinatly not right. It sounds like the splines that hold the lock nut on might have wore off, but I have never heard of that happening before. Take it off and post some pics of it if you can.

Yea I ll do that, I knew it wasnt fitting right. First I gotta find a huge *** cresant wrench.

A really big pipe wrench will work good too. The big part on my stock axle nut is stripped (yah, go figure, almost everything I have is aftermarket, just not the axlenut..........), anyways, the person who rigged my axle nut up actually did a decent job. There is two of the smaller pieces holding the big piece up tight against the c- clip :huh . It's weird, but works decent from what I can tell.
