I took off the choke circuit off my bike and was told that I needed to upgrade my Pilot jet, since its stock. The bike has no air box lid a Outerwear’s Lid Cover, with a K&N with a Outerwear’s Filter, what will I gain from changing out the Pilot jet, and what size should I go to when I do change it, by looking at the EX web site it seems it should help my throttle response at very very low rpms.:devil

I run a 42 slow with a mod. air box and a slip on.
It helps with starting and runs cooler at low rpms.
(remember it matters where your screw is adjusted out to as well)

Most importantly a larger pilot will keep you from running lean which can
damage your engine. I would try a 42 or 45 pilot, and then adjust your fuel mixture screw to get best throttle response.
