Well this year at the local races they are suppose to start doing some db testing, the limit will be 102db for this year and 99 for next year.
I knos how a db meter works, and the only info they give us was that it will be done a 20 inches from the tip...I was wandering for all of you that have done this testing before, at what RPM do you normaly run the engine? is it idle, 3000, 5000, cutting out ?
Just wandering, some people are saying that it's at wide open but I have trouble beleiving that anything would be under 102db at wide open.
Can anyone help me out?
Now I will be running a 450R this year and I wanted to go with a Rossier full exhaust or maybe a sparks or DASA or anythign good I could find at a good price ( used ) but know will these pipes pass the limits? don't really want to spend 300$ on a pipe and have it be to loud...I know the white bros. are not as loud but don't have the same power...What do you guys think I should go with? What pipe will pass testing?
