Any tips on seat cover installation?

My friend is wanting to change his seat cover on his banshee and plastic is so hard that his staple gun will not shoot staples into it. Is the only solution heating the plastic to make it softer?

a brad nailer works really well, just be careful on the length of the nails!

Warm it up so it will stretch tight, and use good wood clamps to help hold it in place as you go. Take your time too.;)

Just spend about $25 and take it to an upholstery shop.
