Rebuilding the front

Guys I plan to make the front of my YFZ +2 and long travel, I will also change the axle! Do you think it is ok to keep the rear shock stock for now while having the LT front or is it neccesary that I change the rear travel as well???

I'm sure you can do it, but you will want to at least get a revalved to even out your ride height
