I know the exhaust topic has been beat to death so Im sorry for this post. Im not concerned about which one sounds better cause they all basically sound the same. I was wondering about is the quality of Yoshi and the Big Gun systems. For the 400-500 bucks Im going to spend on a full system I want something that is a quality part and not fall apart on me.

I have a Yoshi RS-3 Race Series and I love it. I have never heard the Big Gun. The RS-3 is pretty loud and of good quality. Just my $.02

The yosh exhuasts are top quality. They have very good attention to detail.

Big gun is currently on a giant backorder. i tried to pick one up and had to wait like 2 months. I eventually cancelled my order and bought as Yoshi.
My opinion:
The install was smooth, but i didnt drill the headpipe like they claimed...its pointless.
I havent jetted and i went for a ride. Its a big difference before a jetting. I could pull the front wheels anytime. im waiting to rejett in order to test out the high end power.

yoshi has more power and over all better exhaust for your money.

Personal preferance for looks is the big gun, but ive heard nothing but good about any yoshi pipe...
If i wasnt soo poor i would buy a yoshi right away.

Would Yoshi or Big Gun be better for a stock engine? The only other mod that I would do is a new intake filter and the rest would be stock. The Yoshi is just so much cheaper & seems like the best route to go...

Ive had 3 Yoshis and have been pleased every time . I would take a Yoshi over Big gun any day on a 400ex . thats JMO.

i have the big gun full system on mine, its a good pipe. but it can have problems, as in leaking and burning on your plastic. big gun made a new pipe, re-designed.. though, which looks awesome..i wouldn't mind buying it. as in the Big Gun 400ex complete limited series, or the evo X series..

Here's the way I figured it, Yosh makes some of the best pipes for sport bikes, So I guess they know what they are doing.
I also have got to ride a raptor with the biggun and it was cool too. I just like the sound of my yosh better, and my Ex is faster.. hee hee
