if you check the dyno section, you may be able to find one that is close to your specs to look at. it will be better than a pure guess by one of us.

I'd say 36hp.

A 4 stroke HP cost about $100 per pony.

So I'm figurin...

bore and piston $300 = 3hp
Cam and filter $200 = 2hp
exhaust $200 = 2hp

so thats 7hp
whats stock? 28hp?

So you got about 35-36hp. ( i might of been cheap on some prices)

Pretty scientific aye?:eek2:

40 HP should be pretty close as long as the jetting is right. Its a pretty common number from what ive read on here.

I dyno'd at 43hp .. and I have an FCR, oversized valves, porting, and a full exhaust, plus everything else SLSD has.... so he ain't got no 40hp...

bikes can vary quite a bit though. so many factors to consider. tolerances, break in procedure, hours on motor, brand of parts used, how well the parts work together, where teh motor was built to run. i have seen some bikes that put out more horspower than you would think is possible and other bikes put out alot less horspower than you would think. i have seen a 416, with 12:1 wiseco, hot cams stage 2, port and polish, 450r carb, full HMF, K&N, Hot roads crank + more only put out liek 34.6 HP while a mild 416 with only the bore, a cam , and a pipe throw down a 35hp reading. heck, i have seen piped 400ex's put out about 32! the only real way to tell is a good dyno run on a well tuned dyno. the dyno and dyno operator have alot to do with it as well. on a chassis dyno, just 1 click on the ratchet strap can make a 20hp difference in cars,so on a quad i would guess like a 2-3 hp difference just by loosening or tightening the strap. the operator can also affect readings on a dyno. there are way to many variables to get a good "guess". i would say just browse the dyno section. IMO i would venture to say between 35-40HP.
