axle locknut help (lonestar)

Guys,

I removed the stock axle locknut from my 02 raptor to install a LoneStar aftermarket locknut.

However, the LSR locknut actually slides on the splines of the axle.
Is this right?

I mean, with the stock nut, there is a slider that sits on the splines of the axle and the stock nut is screwed on the slider.

Has any one installed a LRS nut that can provide some help?
