no spark on 450R!

Hey I just put in a new motor and tried to start it and there is no spark. Iv checked all the wires the carb there is gas and all that. but no spark the plug is good iv checked the stator all the wires looked good on that and still nothing tried another coil and spark plug cap and nothing. What could it be. The only thing I can think of is if there is some other way the stator can go bad other than a broken wire. Or if the aftermarket flywheel isnt connectiong with the stator. But the guy that I baught the motor from said that when he took it out of his wheeler it ran fine so what could the problem be? Hope somebody can help, thanks.

Probably a bad ground somewhere. Is this motor going into a powdercoated frame by any chance?

no the motor is in the stock frame no powdercoating

I would still check the connections, also make sure the obvious things, like your gas petcock is turned to the "on" position, and your killswitch is on the "run" position
