Ok I'm a duner so I'm not in the market for nerfs, but I needed something to support the fenders to keep them from flopping and tearing themselves up.

Nothing fancy, I just whipped them up for a trip to the dunes. I've only had the bike for a couple of days so I haven't had much time.

Just an idea for people what want the same thing.. no nerfs or heel guards. Thin, trim and sturdy... works for me.

It deffinately looks good, but to me that's a ballsy move. I would be afraid of slipin when jumpin a razorback and losing my footing into the paddles!:ermm:

If you know how to ride your feet shouldn't be coming off the pegs. A lot of cross country racers run just pegs and have no problem.

What size rims and tires are you running? have you tried to run the paddles with the heel guards on?? I am going to the dunes on the 31st and have a set of hualers on 10" rims.. I would rather run them with heel guards (just incase the chicks want a ride)..LOL..

Those are 20" Stars. I tried to hold the heel guards up against the bike and get an idea. I think 20" tires will be just fine. But I wasn't able to get the gaurds in the exact right spot w/o removing my brackets. I also have 21" haulers that I will bolt on when I want to "haul some arse" I don't know if they would have fit with the heel guards.

the 20's wont rub. I have 20x10x8 haulers and even doing 70mph they dont rub. an even bigger tire would still fit.
