Looks like a bigger/heavier battery to me. About twice as heavy. He didn't mention the model of battery though. The stock battery is about 4 1/2 pounds. This battery looks to be almost the size of a ytx14-bs or so which is about 10 1/2 pounds. ?????

just curious as to what size battery is on the z 450?

maybe someone in the suzuki section could give some measurements and rating

i have no problems with mine starting, but it doesnt turn over as fast as my 400 ex did.

I have a question. My battery died on me and I jumped it with my car. I didnt turn my car on I just used it's power. Is this a bad way of doing things in the future? And is there any after market handle bars for the trx 450er? I just got it and can't stand those bars. Thanks!!

Before learning different I started my old Cannondale with my truck with it running. It didn't seem to hurt the battery, but you should really do it just off the battery's voltage like you stated.

Check out the Trail Tech handlebar clamp. I'm real satisfied with it. Make sure you specify when ordering you want the 400ex dash so you'll have a spot for the neutral light.
