get a starcross, im not sure if they make them for 80's or not... its an intermediate tire and is good for loose dirt or mud... most trails by me are like that

if not get a dunlop d756

I feel like I've warped back in time!! My first bike was a 1985 KX 80. It was a fast little bugger, but I hated the chain adjusters (always came loose and threw the chain). That must be a little newer, since the adjusters look different. Just get a Maxxis tire for it. Think about the kind of terrain you ride on most, and then buy the appropriate tire. They have everything from soft to intermediate to hard terrain tires, so pick whatever fits best. Maxxis is the best quality low cost tire I've seen. You could get Michelin or Dunlop, but the only difference you'll notice is in your wallet. From that picture, you might consider buying both tires. They should be pretty cheap, and it will handle a lot better.
