i was going to get a big gun full pipe but the guy backed out so im geting a hmf and im geting a k&n air filter
now they r sending me a a 175 jet

here is what hmf says

also my see level where i live is like 3 above
so would this be to rich for my atv

id try about 155 - 160 and 42 pilot jet

Forget what HMFs website says. the bike wont even run with those specs, but notice it wont burn up either so they are covered on that...:p

Without the airbox lid, run a 42 pilot jet and somewhere between a 155-165 but no bigger for sure. I would start with a 158 if it was me but it could possibly take a 155. Call 866-HMF-PIPE and ask them what they suggest at your altitude with your mods. they will get you VERY close and are very helpful.

i kinda want to run it with the lid on the air box what would jets would i use then

well all i am using is a 152 main...someone told me that if i went any higher or used pilot it would make it to rich..so far its workin

I have a 05' 400ex and I am running an hmf slip on with a k&n air intake and the lid on. I run a 42 pilot and 152 main as HMF recommended and it runs great. Have been running it this way for a year now with zero problems. Quad runs like a bat out of #*$^$. It also starts much easier with the 42 pilot..................
