Best tire set-up for mx

I want to get holeshot tires for my 400ex. I know that 18" rear tires are usually the size of choice for racing mx tires or supercross type tracks. My question is what size front tires should i get, I see people like John Natalie racing with the real small front tires and I want to know what size they are, thanks-

i would get some 20x6x10 or so

i have 19s in th front and i dont have any problems

either 19s or 20s for the front, its all personal preference.


and for the types of tires for the front i like kendas, or itps

for the rears itp mxr4/6 or the sx version.

I run kenda klaws 20" up front and 18" in the back.

Go with 18 inch mxr6's in the rear, holeshot is only making the mxr4's in 19 inch rears this year. In the front, get 20's, almost all fo the pros run that setup. I asked why up at Baldwins one day, and he told me that the 19's are very twitchy.
