I'm building a YFZ up and cant get the holes to line up in the front where the motor mounts are. the propeg mounts fit up fine. these are the new blackline pro-pegs with heel gaurds if that helps.

am i going to have to get the drill out and make the holes bigger?

good luck man, AC nerfs fit like ***, dont get me wrong i love mine but the fitment was one of the worse i have seen. I had to put a big breaker bar on the front mount and tweak it foward.

I had to use a crescent wrench and have a friend help me... but they sure are a good solid fit now :eek:

Took me , my dad and a bar to get mine to fit . I didn't think I'd ever have so much problem getting a set of nerfs on .... boy was I wrong .

Keep an eye out on the bottom plate of your heel guards .... 4 of the welds broke on mine ... 2 split right down the center ... 2 broke around the welds . :grr:

AC = Always crooked:p

We have been super happy with Pro Armor. No issues, amd no tweaking.

LOL ... Never heard of that one before ... I have heard of AC = Adjust and Cut . ;)

They must have a quad that is tweaked or something that they design parts off of cuz it seems like everyone is having the same problem with their nerfs . All they need to do is give half an inch extra and things would fit well .

Ive had some ac parts fit perfectly, others are a pain. ive had my share of issues with just about every part you can imagine, but with some the headaches are few and far between.

I try and inform folks of what I find woprks without too much hassle, less headaches and b!tching that way. But sometimes its not always the part, a tweaked frame, tweaked mounts etc can add up to a problem that gets blamed soley on the part. a little offf here, a little tweak there all adds up to a bigger hammer, some cussing and a few extra beers:p

I've been through 8 sets of AC nerfs, and they all fit great. Blaster, Banshee, YFZ.

I have installed a few sets of ac nerfs recently and yes it ends up being a 2 person job :ermm: The only suggestion I have is don't tighten anything untill you get all the bolts started otherwise it will put a bind on the parts.

i have had two sets of pro pegs for 2 different yfzs and on both sets i had to make the notch longer where it mounts to the motor mounts, i guess they consistantly don't fit??? but they are really good nerfs and you can't beat the price
