I have an 04 450r. i have 18" tires on the back and 21's on the front. I have a full bll balance HMF system. I have an HRC kit installed. I mainly race cross country and climb some hills. What front and rear sproket would be good for me. I want something with power and speed. Just something in between i guess. If yuo need any more info please ask and il give it. Thanks for helping. I just need a good starting point. Thanks

w/ 18's, stock gearing should be good. you may wanna try a 15 on the front, or a 36 on the back, if more top speed is needed. 15/36 or 15/37 w/ 18's would be like stock gearing w/ 20's.

just curious, but why in the world are you running 18'' rear tires when racing cross country? :huh

I changed my gearing to a 13 tooth front and left the rear the same, i am using Sunstar sprockets and a DID Xring chain, they are probably the best bang for the buck when going with a drive setup, if you do that go with the chromoly front sprocket, it seems to last quite a bit longer then the others

have you raced a XC race witht hem yet if not good luck i highcenter with 20's.

Gearing wise i am running 13/40 little high in the back i would go with stock rear and a 13 frotn if you get some 20's
