can i upgrade the rear stock shock and is it worth it

You can get it revalved and resprung by some of the big names. I have never used one so I can't tell you how it rides.

I think axis re-valves and re-springs rear shocks.

I ride an Axis rear and it is more than worth it, but i have heard people that ride revalved ones like them just as much. I would talk to GT Thunder.
