will an in-line fuel filter work as a replacement for the one at the entrance to the 400ex carb?

any in line fuel filter will work as long as it will fit in the location.....BUT your 05' 400ex come from the factory with a fuel filter or did you buy it from an individual that had put a filter on it ? Just wondering because have never seen a 400ex come with one on it

They dont come with one stock. Unless that is a new thing for 05'-06'. A inline filter will do fine anywhere past the petcock though.
