View Full Version : FCR carb on 300ex

I have a keihin fcr carb on the way and i was wondering what any of you guys running this setup used to get it to work?i would imagine the 300ex manifold would be too small.Oh and im not gonna pay $75 for some bs adaptor from sparks or another comp.im sure somebody has came up with something.Will the 300ex throttle assembly and cable work for it? serious responses only please:D

i was able to fit my 400ex carb in with no mods...

so u might not have 2

i have the 400ex carb now but i would imagine the fcr is significantly bigger in diameter.im sure i can come up with something,just thought there may have been an easier way.

whats the carb off of? if you get one for a 400ex it will bolt right up. i used a cable for the 400ex w/fcr and shortened it. or you can use the cable of a yfz.

its the early style off of a 99 yz 400.i should have it by friday,i will see whats up then.thanx

that should work good, it just might be a little harder to fit. i think its shorter than 400ex fcr kits.
