I'm tired of replacing stators every time I ride after it rains. Anyone know how to keep water out of the stator area?

buy the side snorkel for the 04 - 06 and replace the 03's perforated hole side cover. Sorry about the pic size.

Your right. We installed it on my boys XC Polaris he races and has cut down on the stator problem. Although somebody needs to come up with a better stator.

Alpha Sport has a sealed motor coil stator that has eliminated all of our problems. The charging coils are still exposed, but I remove those anyway and dont have the charging system at all. Youi ca also just coat the windings with 5 min epoxy and make your own sealed windings stator.
