Steering Shaft

I have a 02 400ex this weekend all the sudden it would not turn got off and looked and there was a bearing and pieces laying under it.I pulled the steering shaft out today the collar will come right off put the rest is stuck.My question is when I put the new bearing and seals on the stem will it simply go back through the
holder on the frame and put the nut on or Is there something I'm missing.A friend of mine told mine told me this forum can be a lot of help so I'm giving it a try!

That should be about it, atleast from how I am understanding your question. Go to planet honda and look at the parts fiche on there and you should be able to tell if anything is missing from the picture.
