How are most of you doing this? It sounds like everyone is also going leaner on the main jet after this. Any thoughts?

When I removed it from both of my LT80's I just removed the tank and lines. Pulled the side cover and removed the drive so the pump wouldnt turn. Plugged the fitting going into the carb. I never removed the upper portion of the pump. I suppose a block off plate would make it look nicer. I know one had a 92 main jet and the engine was stock. Well it had been bored and awiseco installed.
They can go leaner (87.5 or 90) with or w/o the oil injection.

That is what I thought. Sean told me he was running an 87.5.
I'm gonna run 40:1, that sound right to you LT80?
I recommend that you mix at the oil company's recommended mix ratio (some are 50:1)
Most run good at 32:1 but that's not sayiong that 40:1 isn't just fine. Oil type means alot in this area. Let the plug color guide you. Try at 32:1 and 40:1 and see which ratio gives a better color. :)
My favorite oil is Torco GP-7 synthetic.

Our 50's run Motul 800, so I'm gonna give that a shot, to try to keep things simple for Mom :D
