The rezy will hit the a-arms. Hetrick racing sells a kit. My brother was thinking of doing this and called Hetrick and they went out and did some measuring and said it will not work.

That's a big surprise:rolleyes: .

How much would that kit and the shocks cost? You would think after going through that trouble of getting a custom kit to make stock shocks from another quad work, you could've bought a-arms and shocks for the same price, with probably a better outcome.

this is what you need
www.diamondjcustoms.com

kit i think is 220 shipped which also makes you wider. but you can just buy a top braket from the for cheep so you can mount the longer shocks on. or they use ebay to sell alot too. theirs one on ebay right now for $22:eek2:

Modifications such as this scare me.

Put out some more coin and buy low level aftermarket shocks.

It acutally works well. Personal experience 450r shocks are better on it then 400ex shocks.

You have to unbolt the mounts and move them up for 400ex,450r shocks or any other shock that length. At first when your putting 450r shocks on you may think they won't work. just jack the front end off the ground and they will fit. and i recommend getting bolts like the stock bolts but the right size for the top mount.
