Axle Lock nut

The axle lock nut on my 300ex keeps loosening off how can I stop this from hapening? It's just the lock nut not the main nut.

A lot of folks just wrap electrical tape around the threads and retighten. Once you loosen the stock nut it never wants to stay tight again. A better fix would be to get an aftermarket locknut w/pinchbolts like the RAD or even durablue. I have the durablue and it hasn't come loose yet.

I've got a Durablue posi-locknut for a 400EX, I am not sure if they are the same spline pattern.....but check that out.

i just used blue loctite on it cause mine did the same thing.

Dont GEt Dura blue they suckkkk.
your better off geting a lsr loccknut with the 2 pinch bolt. Very nice and only like $40. My durablue cracked bent and striped. i opnly had it for about 6 months. P.O.S.
