I was wondering how fast a stock 250ex goes??

Mine tops out at 48-50 depending on the terrain.

speed isnt everything nacs racer............about 50mph, not as fast as your 300ex

oh i know, my brother just got a new ozark 250 and i can have fun on it even though it really slow. its a really good quad. if anyone was thinkin bought buyin a recon or somethin...sorry honda, suzuki beat you out again

300 recon??? there is no such thing, and if you bored it, who makes that kit, cause it would work the the 250 also.

I will take that bet. Id race you anytime. drag, track, woods you name it. ive had both machines before and the recon is slow compared to the ex. even the new ones where the motors are exactly the same. that 60 lbs and the suspension actually make a difference with a underpowered machine. there is no way you could keep up with me on a recon. there hasnt been a utility yet that Ive rode with able to keep up with me in the woods. just because I ride a 250ex doesnt mean Im a little kid and I cant ride! oh and there is no way you can get a 229cc recon to 300 cc by boring it. and 2mm bore only brings it too 243. so you would have to bore the **** out of it and I dont think the sleeve would be big enough.

We clocked our 250EX at 53mph on a LONG, straight, hard-packed road. We clocked it with a Sportsman 500, which has a speedometer, but I don't know exactly how accurate that would be. My guess is that +/- 2mph accuracy.

yeah. usually an atv speedo at top speed is a few mph over. the top speed is somewhere around 50. not very fast but at least it gets there somewhat quick.

my 250ex runs 55 down the road tops. Not quite as fast as my raptor
