what did it sound like the ninja pipe on it? do you have an audio clip or video clip?

powercore 4 inst the greastest pipe, its under 102, but i would suggest wb r-4 or e-series, HMF, LRD, big gun, yoshi is pretty quiet comparded to others and give a great increase,

ill look on ebay for you and find something cheap, id look into these other ^^^ before getting fmf

The CT from what I have heard is very loud probly over 102 decibals. The t4 isn't that bad my cousin has one on his 400ex. I give it a 90 something decibals.

ogre, I'm in the same situation as you, I have my 440 being resleeved down to a 426. I too need a slip on but don't want it too loud.

I'm looking for the HMF but forget about getting one for $125

My max I wanna spend for a slipon is the same, no more than $100 - 125

Anyone else have anything?

From my experience in hearing different pipes on 400's especially, FMF's are really loud. I don't know if it's over 102dB, but it has to be close. I would recommend a Dr. D slip-on. You can get it from Go Parts Direct (http://www.gopartsdirect.com/atv/onlinecatalog2003.asp?CategoryID=60&SubCategory=&Model=Honda%20TRX400EX) for $239 with free shipping. It provides good power gains and is only like 96dB.

$200 is way high for a used slipon. I just got a used ProCircuit T4 for $100 shipped and I am VERY impressed with the power. Seat of the pants it is close to my HMF full system I had. I would reccomend the PC T4, WB Eseries, or HMF slipon's. If it was me I would stay away from the FMF on 4 strokes.

I havent had that much success with FMF's 4 stroke pipes. There 2 stroke stuff, however, is a different story. I had a fatty on my KX and that powerband was killer and my bro has SST's on his shee and they preform great. I just think FMF puts more time into the R&D of their 2 stroke stuff than the 4 strokes. With other company's such as HMF focuasing solely on 4 strokes, they are the better choice In my opinion.

$199 shipped for a NEW HMF slip on is about as good of a price as you will find. keep in mind this is a new pipe. Something used will be alot cheaper.

Also, keep in mind if you buy the HMF slipon, you can send it back to HMF later when you have more money and have it converted to their full system. Which is a very nice option.
