I have had my 2002 400ex for 2 weeks and my fuse has blown twice, any ideas, i dont want to take it back to the dealer if i dont have too. Ive noticed it happens when i stall it trying to get over rocks or something. It will stall, ill start it, I stall it again and start it, then when i got to start it again the fuse has blown. Is it possible i have overheated the starter using it to much in to short of a time period. I noticed in the owners manual it said not to use it for more than 5 seconds at a time.

take it in for them to look at it...somehow there is something bad in the electrical system causing a spike...in my opinion that is
you dont want it to catch fire

get a 42 pilot if your having trouble starting. It starts right away with out choke for us. It shows you how to do it with photo's in the faq FORUM not the faq above under the videos gif.. And something isn't right with the electrical and your pry gonna have a hard time figuring that out.
