so i just put on a 14 tooth front sproket and it looks a little soose how ca you tell if its to loose? thanks guys

The proper way to measure chain slack is by sitting on the quad. There should be an inch-1.5 inches or so of slack.

if its to loose do you just take out a link?

no on the back of the swingarm there are 4 bolts lossen those then take the allen wrench and stick it in the hole in the carier and lossen it.

FWIW, the Honda service manual does not specify that you should be sitting on the quad. It says, "Check the slack in the drive chain upper run midway between the sprockets. Chain slack: 1 1/4 to 1 5/8"

mine says that too but u should sit on it or it will be WAY to tight.
