why did you decide to go with long travel? Why did you go with the Houser/Fox combination? Just curious. I'm looking for a 450 and wanted to go with LT suspension.

I like the Houser products. I ordered them on Wed. and had them on Thursday. This is the first Fox shocks I've had in my hands. This bike is for a customer, who is new to the quad market. He wants to be able to trail ride, and also ride some local small mx tracks. I felt with this shock combo, he could simply change air pressure for different conditions. I also love the new sli-cast arms. Simply takes minutes to adjust the caster now. Before, I must admit I never messed with mine, due to the time it took to get it right. Now, you simply loosen the top balljoint nut, and rotate it, and re-tighten.

I am impressed with this setup just bolting it on and adjusting the frontend. We just got 2" of rain, so won't be testing it today. :(

I wish it were that simple. I know of some of the older LT setups that actually did not have a bit more "travel" then a properly setup standard travel setup. The only difference was a longer shock. The longer shock allows the shock builder to build a better shock, that won't faid as quickly, and better suit to the rider. Your balljoint is what will hurt the actual "travel".
