yep those are the two top sites i visit, A TON of really helpful info on there. also www.arcticchat.com is a good site for arctic cat sleds, but dootalk and hcs are my favorite. im going to be in the market for my first sled this summer too, my buddy has a 02 mxz700 that i might treat myself to:D

yeah the revs are sick, seems like most newer high performance sleds are starting to evolve into the "rev style".(polaris fusions, new 07 cats, etc)

id love one but for where i live, i wouldnt spend the money for one unless i knew i was taking trips up north. if i can buy my friends 02 700 zx chassis ill be a happy camper

nothing like a rev440 freestyle sled, does it still have the 440 motor or is it an 800 mod?

It all depends on what you want to do with your sled . Rider-forward design ( like the REV platform) are nice if you do a lot of trail riding or if you're into snowcross/ditch banging .

If you're into mountain stuff and straight line the ZX chassis design is still great ... and it still does the trick for trail riding .

If you have a chance , check out Yamaha's website and look at the new redesigned Phazer .... it's made like a quad . It'll be popular in the snowcross circuits I'm sure ... the only thing I don't like is their seat .

You got it right ... it's an 800 mod sled . Apparently it's been used very little .... so the guy says . I'd take the 440 that I posted well before the 800 though ... the 440 will do just fine for me.

yeah i know the rev would suite my style alittle more than the zx, but price wise its not even comparable, especially since im not planning on taking any big trips any time soon, just going to cruise the feilds and powerlines and have a good time.

that phazer seems like a cool little sled(way out of my price range anyway) but i just wish yama did something more with the body, i just cant get myself to like the looks at all like i usually can with new models. i saw some little videos of them in action, they sound like a quad/mx bike on steroids.(
